針對近來兩岸、國防、外交出現爭議事件，國民黨立院黨團14日表示，由於兩岸溝通不順、飛彈誤射以及南海仲裁等案，都屬於蔡英文總統職權，蔡總統應向國會提出國情報告，也呼籲立法院長蘇嘉全盡快邀集朝野協商，凝聚共識。

國民黨立院黨團針對新政府就任以來，兩岸溝通不暢通、雄三飛彈誤射以及南海仲裁侵權結果等重大外交國防事務，要求蔡英文總統赴國會進行國情報告。對此，立法院長蘇嘉全今天(14日)表示，雖然以前至今未有過總統赴立法院國情報告，但是憲法確實有相關規定，蘇嘉全說，只要依程序進行，邀總統國情報告可以討論。

對此，蘇嘉全受訪時表示，以前到現在沒有一個總統曾到立法院做過國情報告，但依憲法增修條文規定，總統得到立法院做國情報告，立委職權行使法也有相關規定，只要合乎程序，都可以討論。蘇嘉全說：『(原音)那立法委員職權行使法也有相關程序規定，只要依照程序來進行，這個問題是可以討論的。』

至於國民黨立委不斷呼籲蔡總統應該登上太平島宣示主權，蘇嘉全說，總統的每個動作都代表整個國家，任何維護主權與國民權益的方式，總統都可以思考；但是不是現階段就要登上太平島，應該要讓總統有時間去判斷。
